Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child

Each year Operation Christmas Child coordinates shoeboxes filled with donations for children from poorer countries. The website is http://operationchristmaschild.org.au/

Miss Moo and I put one together each and while we do them we talk about Christmas, sharing and helping others. This year we registerd our labels which go on the boxes, so we can track on the website where the shoeboxes will go.

They are looking for small items such as, something to wear, something special like a bracelet, something to love like a little teddy bear and something to play with like a tennis ball and some things for school like pencils. You can include a message from you, such as a Christmas card.

It really is something so small and simple to do but brings joy to both us and 2 children we have never met.
